Melon Cooler Ingredients
- 1/2 medium honeydew melon, de-seeded and cubed
- 3 Persian cucumbers, roughly chopped
- 2 limes, juiced
- 1 tbsp lime zest (about 1 medium lime)
- 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves
- Pinch of kosher salt
- 2 cups water
Instructions
- Combine Ingredients: Add the honeydew melon cubes, roughly chopped Persian cucumbers, freshly squeezed lime juice, lime zest, fresh mint leaves, a pinch of kosher salt, and 2 cups of water into a high-speed blender.
- Blend Thoroughly: Blend on medium-high speed for 2 to 3 minutes until the mixture becomes smooth and frothy.
- Strain the Cooler: Pour the blended mixture through a fine mesh sieve or nut milk bag into a bowl to remove pulp and seeds, achieving a smooth liquid.
- Store and Serve: Transfer the strained melon cooler into a glass jar and refrigerate. Enjoy chilled, and consume within 3 days for the best freshness.
Notes
- Use a high-speed blender for best texture and smoothness.
- Straining removes pulp but can be skipped if you prefer a thicker texture.
- Adjust the amount of water to your preferred consistency: less water for a thicker drink, more for a lighter one.
- You can garnish with additional fresh mint or a slice of lime before serving.
- This drink is naturally sweetened; no added sugar is necessary.
